Durkheim on Morality, Society and the Individual

In this paper, I will be discussing Emile Durkheims views on ethics, parliamentary law and the soul. Durkheim (1893) began writing his major works which charge on lodge as a amicable feature, the types of play club such as the traditional society and the unexampled society, the function of the brotherly structures in these societies such as religion, rearing in maintaining social sound out. These works include variation of labour in society (1893), Rules of sociological method (1895), self-destruction (1897) and the Elementary forms of religious liveliness (1912). Hes ideologies unruly society played a crucial role in advancing the theories developed about the society, the individual and social solidarity. He studied the characteristics of societies and how they affect the relationships or social bonds between individuals.  However, he became concerned about the lurch from the traditional society to the ripe society and its effects on the society, social society and the individual. He begins by explaining the characteristic of a social fact. A social fact is a elan of acting, whether fixed or non that is able to cast an out-of-door constraint on an individual and it exists outside the individual (Edles and Applerouth 2010 87)   Durkheim defines society which is a social fact as an ideal phenomenon with its knowledge distinctive ken all over and above its material side in space and time. It is a consciousness that is emergent from barely irreducible to the individual consciousness which comprise it. (Tole, 2007) Inherent in this society is morality that is immanent for its overall functionality. In his opinion, Durkheim views morality as a asshole that functions to achieve social order and solidarity in any society. morals is the controlling force of society (Marske, 1987) Every individual functions at an important level imputable to the relationship between individuals in the society or the embodied consciousness existing in that society.
